Mr Blue Sky wrote:It's true. Even when Joe Keenan writes a (for him) sub-par episode it's still littered with memorable dialogue. This is my favourite scene from that ep:-

Frasier: Well, I think a little mistrust adds mystery to a relationship.
Brandy: Mystery I could stand if he didn't neglect me so much. Every time we go for a romantic dinner he gets a phone call and bang, it's "Gotta work babe, finish your lobster. I'll send you a limo."
Frasier: Lobster? Limos? My God, give me his number and I'll marry him!
Brandy: Money ain't everything, especially when you've got a sex life like ours...
Roz: He's not even good in bed?
Brandy: Who knows? We're never there long enough to find out!
Frasier: You know, this really isn’t necessary...
Brandy: I said to him last night, "What the hell was that?! I've been vaccinated slower!"

Sorry, I know that has nothing to do with Niles, but still...

That is one of my favourite lines...i LMAO everytime i hear that....what was that...i've been vaccinated slower!! lol!

From 'Mixed Doubles':

"Ooh, spare me, you ludicrous popinjay!"

At times, I have rewound that line 15 times on the trot. Brilliant.

When Shelly says (of her perfume) for a hundred bucks you could get enough to drown you. And Niles turning to Fraiser says 'Well I've got $60 bucks!!!!!!

From episode: The show where Sam shows up
On what desert island with no hope of rescue was this?!
Her bouquet cleaved his hardened shell
And fondled his muscled heart
He imbibed her glistening spell
Just before the other shoe fell

It goes something along the lines of "I thought you might want to accompany me to 'Abigails', I'm having my crepe pans re-seasonsed" - another example of his effete majesty.
"If this goes on, my beloved 'earers, it will be my painful duty to
rot this bargee." Stalky drew a long breath through his nose.

Who has a nice toast? Niles?

Niles: Lechaim!

The episode where they pretend to be Jewish is hilarious.

A friend of mine told me this amazing story today:

David Hyde Pierce (Played Niles on Frasier) came into a restaurant I was managing in VT and on the comment card where it asks for “suggestions” he wrote “dancing appetizers”……….I have yet to figure out wtf that means………………..

I've just remembered, "I have pricked the bubble of Frasier's pomposity," so I thought I would throw that into the mix too.

I've just been able to say one! "Ooh, scones!" Just visiting the aged parents and my Mother has brought a plate of hot scones outside.

They were 'grand' (as we say in Yorkshire). Hot and smothered in butter. I can feel my arteries hardening as I type. Aren't parents wonderful?

I paraphrased a great Niles' line on Monday. The future Mrs BT and I had lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe in Edinburgh and we ordered steak sandwiches. When they came, the steak was covered in cheese. Angie said, it must be an American thing - I replied "they have it every day. Every day in ARKANSAS!" Unfortunately I then had to explain the joke and the reference, which kind of killed it and left me realising that I aren't as funny as I sometimes think I am.

What kind of cheese? Unless it was a "cheesesteak" sammich, steak sammiches should never be covered in cheese! Silly Hard Rock Cafe!

I hate it when I have to explain my "Frasierisms".

I don't know. It was almost, but not entirely, unlike cheese and almost, but not quite, plastic.

That sounds like a Philly cheesesteak to me.
I think the cheese used should really be mozzarella but I have seen not eaten the plastic-y, processed, bright yellow, square crap (the sort you get on a burger) on them before.
I've got a fake laugh with your name written all over it.

Alas, I will never know, although it did give me constant reminders of itself throughout the night, as I tried to sleep.
