Favourite Frasier Quote

Postby Nervosa » Fri Jun 08, 2007 5:59 pm

There's been similar threads before, but here's another.

What's some of your favourite quotes from the show?

One of mine is in my signiture.

Another is "Isn't it sad when bad things happen to good sentences?" - I use that one a lot.

I have A LOT of quotes I love but this is one of my all time favs and it's definitely my favorite Frasier RANT!

From Frasier's Imaginary Friend

Frasier: I am not crazy! I am dating a supermodel zoologist, whom I stole away from a professional football player, and she is off to the Galapagos Islands to artificially inseminate iguanas! Now is that so hard to believe!
This is the STUPIDEST day I've ever had!

Actually, I just worte my favorite Gil line on the Guess the Episode thread.

"Mm, what a delctable medley of Fromagian splendour."

It makes me crack up every single time, and I have to say it whenever I eat cheese!

Not really a quote, but I always say "Ok" in the way Niles says to his dog (girl is her name?).

Love that line. Two more from Kate Costas and from that episode in particular:

Did you ever open a book at Harvard? and Guess again Captain Midnight!

Roger, at Cornell University they have an incredible piece of scientific equipment known as the tunneling electron microscope. Now, this microscope is so powerful that by firing electrons you can actually see images of the atom, the infinitesimally minute building blocks of our universe.
Roger, if I were using that microscope right now... I still wouldn't be able to locate my interest in your problem. - Frasier, "Selling Out"

I actually think so far it has to be from Daphne Returns.
"If it turns out she's not perfect, then there's a chance it won't work out. Then not only will you lose Daphne, but you'll have wasted 7 years of your life chasing an illusion".
I'm never sure what I'm supposed to spoiler? :?

Anyway the way Fraiser says that... woa I get shivers every time. Very poignant.

Roz: Actually Niles, me and your dad just aloped, I'm your new mom.

Niles: Well, I'll be a son of a bitch.

"Copernicus called. You are not the center of the universe!" ~Frasier, in the Christmas episode where the brothers are arguing about who gets to have Christmas at their house.

"Excuse me while I go poke out my miind's eye." ~Frasier

Hi Daphne! Congrats on your first post. That second quote you've got there is one of my favourites too. :)

The one in my signature is also a favorite of mine!

And it's followed by Frasier rolling off the bed and Niles typing.

Frasier: No, don't type that!
Niles: I'm not. I'm adding up our tab for the mini bar!

A few more lines exchanged including the one about Frasier eating the Macamadamia nuts (and I know that's not how it's spelled but it's a Homerism and I always say it that way).

Then the brawl ensues!

Useful and fun quotes are these:

- 'Fat chance' from S2's 'The Club' after Frasier ends his date's call by promising to ring back after she cancelled. (FAVOURITE)
- 'Did anyone see you ?' as Niles' worried reaction after he heared Frasier was in a mall in S1's 'Fortysomething'.
- S2's 'Breaking the ice': Frasier says:'Well imagine my embarassment !' after failing to aptly name the so called 'auger'.
- S5's 'The life of the party'. After Frasier gets rejected when asking the short-haired woman out for dinner, his initial reaction as he blurts out: 'Yes, well !!' to go through his process of disappointment.

Later all !
