Reminds me of Alex Reid, Katie Price' Ex (you probably don' know him/them, a UK phenomenon). He has this alter ego called 'Roxanne'. He is apparently bisexual though.

I am a bit uncomfortable with that kind of joke, IMO it hearkens back to a time when it was acceptable to put on a black face act ridiculously. One minority is as worthy of respect as another.

That's because drag queens aren't just any gay people, they are gay people who specifically dress that way for fun or as impersonators, entertainers etc.. From what I know, drag queens aren't even necessarily gay.

I can certainly understand that someone would dress like a woman to act on stage, but why would a straight man dress like a woman and walk on the streets? To each his own I guess, but it's strange nevertheless.

This! I hate having to wear heals on the rare occasion I do have to wear them. I could never understand people actually WANTING to wear them. Along with hose and bras too! The most uncomfortable things on the planet.

The easy answer to that is never buy any. There is NO occasion for which heels are required.

I'm on a run through of seasons 1-11 at the moment. Currently on Season 10. Whilst it definitely lost something in 8-10 I have to say I am enjoying being reminded that Frasier truly is the greatest sitcom that has ever been made.

I record every time Frasier airs on several different channels. It spans seasons, so I really don't know what year I'm viewing necessarily. Anyway, I often save my favorite eps so I can watch again and again. Mixed Doubles kills me. The Rodney/Niles interactions are hysterical (I wonder if the actor who played Rodney did anything else, I'll have to look him up), and I love the scene where Roz helps Niles get settled at the bar she refers to as the Sure Thing:

Niles: Well, I'm here. I forgot to gargle, I'm wearing mismatched socks, and I'm so nervous, I could wet myself.
Roz Doyle: Well, at least we have your opening line down.
Niles: You're going to have to be patient with me, Roz; this isn't exactly my milieu.
Roz Doyle: Okay, let's make that lesson number one: If you're going to use words like "milieu," you might as well show up here with a sore on your lip and a couple of kids.

TylerRodan and I are watching the RDWRER episode right now! My favorite part is when Eddie has his lil' paws up against the RV! Niles's adventure seems scary; reminds me of the times I take the subway train in the wrong direction
