A ton of classics here but Itchy & Scratchy & Marge takes the cake.

How can I choose?

I love 'Two Cars in Every Garage', 'Dead Puttin' Society', 'Itchy and Scratchy and Marge' to name a few, but in the end I went for 'Bart Gets Hit by a Car'. I love almost all of them in this season though!

''Dead Puttin' Society'' and ''Simpson And Delilah'' are my favourites. In the end I had to pick the latter because of its more satisfying conclusion, and because of the characterisation of Homer.

I really hope one of the episodes gets a second vote.

A deciding vote is needed!

Simpson and Delilah. I remember it being the first episode I ever saw as I had it on VHS as a kid.

Thank you! Now nobody vote for a different episode or I'll kill you. :)

All of a sudden the voting gets much harder, which shows the leap in quality the show took in its second year.

I went for 'Simpson and Delilah', as it's wonderful.

Sorry but had to give 'Simpson and Delilah' another vote! It's my favourite of all Season 2 episodes. I love seeing Homer with hair, running through the town and then the old man on the porch shouts 'get a haircut, ya hippy!' There's so many classics on that list, the only one I don't like is Dancin' Homer, I tend to skip that one.

Strangely enough, my brother sent me a text just now saying "My mother taught me never to kiss a fool!" Which seemed apt considering the way this thread is going.

(We send Simpsons quotes to each other all the time, by the way, he wasn't just saying it generally!)

Thinking about it, it's quite a brave episode in some ways - Karl kisses Homer on the lips and Homer doesn't even mind. It's very grown-up.

Hehe, I love the 'Homer with hair' scene. I tend to skip Dancin' Homer too - it just tends to drag.

Hehe, my friend and I send Trading Places quotes to each other all the time! It's like an in-joke only he and I understand...
