Sorry for starting a new thread but I had the best news ever today!!!!


I got out of hospital, and when I got home I got a phonecall,
I AM GOING TO BE AN AUNTIE!!!!


This has made me feel so damn good and happy, I have been sworn to secrecy expect FO peeps though, I promised you lot wouldn't pop it on FB on me wall status etc til I'm allowed to announce it, so please don't... Hope that's ok!

About 6 weeks at the moment, and I believe she is going to wait as long as she can, as at morrisons if someone gets pregnant they put them on tills and she hates tills and has admitted she would be tempted to nick some money, (like mother like daughter I suppose). I think it's bad luck or something to tell too early?!?! I dont know I need to get loads of books and find out everything I can about babies!

I'm not sure it's bad luck, but there's a much higher chance of having a miscarriage before 13 weeks, so most people tend to wait. I'm sure she'll be absolutely fine though, so I don't want it to sound like you should worry, or anything.

Oh dear I hope she is ok, I was helping her, and gave her some vitamins to help her conceive, so I will bed to check if there's any to help her during pregnancy. I know bro in laws parents don't even know yet, so mum is getting her to tell em soon so think everyone will know soon. Mum says I can't buy anything until at least the twelve week Mark.... Argh the waiting!!!

I'm sure she'll be fine. I know from experience though, that if a miscarriage does happen, it makes it ten times worse if you've already told lots of people and they've made a fuss, bought gifts, etc.

Thanks everyone, she's been to the doctor and so far everything's on track! So happy about it! Haven't seen my mum or Sis this happy for years either, I can wait to get cuddles either!
