I think he's played it, there's a link to it on his Facebook page.

Thanks for the tip, M-C. I did play it this morning. Got 70/100, which was at the 90th percentile. A respectable score, to be sure, but some of the words I missed made me slap my forehead when I saw them (like "yeah," and "oh").

I got 40/50.

ummmm, yeah. I didn't do so good. I missed Sarajevo because I couldn't remember the name of the country that used to be Yugoslavia. By the time I remembered it was too late. The rest of those I didn't get (which was a lot) was mostly because I'm just stupid!

Try this one: US to UK translations. I got 42 out of 46. There's a UK to US one too.

Apparently you guys aren't very good teachers! I only got 10 of them! I've never heard one of you refer to rummage sale as a "jumble" sale. I kept trying to answer boot sale and it was pissing me off that it wouldn't let me put that in there!

I'd never even heard 'galoshes' - I put 'gumboots' and it seemed to work!
CatNamedRudy wrote:I never heard of gumboots. Truly we pretty much just call them boots! Galoshes is a term from somewhere around the 1950s! Nobody calls them that anymore.
